THE SHORT AND SWEET
The heroes had entered into "The World As The Story Sees It," a patchwork realm overlooking The End of The World, a void of Darkness held back by an invisible wall and a net of the Story's magic. The heroes realized that they could no longer just defend—and began putting their minds towards strategies to defeat the Darkness once and for all.

The heroes visited several dead worlds connected to Aather through Rips in the world borders—the Floating City, the Academy, the Hive, the Naming Lands—and helped awaken the long-sleeping hearts of the worlds and connect them to Aather, along with their bonds and the bonds to many other worlds. This spell gave them the power to tackle the Darkness and their own fears.

But there was much more darkness, still. And the heroes discovered the Darkness could not be fully defeated as it was tied too heavily to the Story. They took a risk—to separate the Story from the Storysona, and the Darkness from them both. They poured their feelings out in response to the Storysona's plea, and two knights returned from their long quest for The Sword That Cuts Stories after months of searching, severing the Story from the Darkness, leaving just the fading Story, and the person left behind . . .

Dawn: Heroes, Knights, and Personae alike all gather before setting out to find the Prince. The first path leads to statues of Brother Deer, Old Joe, Captain Hook, Pandora, and Mother Goose and a memory reveals how the Darkness took them.
-The second path leads to statues of Odile, Narcissus, and Rumpelstiltskin who were all trying to flee through rips. The Heroes and Knights meet back up and dispell a pool of Darkness.
-The third path, led by Beauty and the Dog, leads to a statue of the Netted Lion and a memory of its story. As they progress there is a conflict with Darkness creatures imitating their loved ones that they defeat. Past that, they find the remains of a beautiful garden with a giant dragon coiled around an enormous tree. It is quickly revealed that The Prince is its prisoner.
Morning: The dragon summoned all Heroes and Knights currently in the woods to its garden and provided some witty commentary before giving an ominous speech which revealed its intentions. Its power sent them into a deep and comforting sleep, waiting for someone to come rescue them and entirely content to do so. The Heroes and Knights broke free, and their efforts to dispel the Darkness sleep magic also had the side effect of dispelling the Darkness pall from the tree and vines the dragon coiled around, making it climbable — getting up there to get the Prince was now possible. The Heroes and Knights defeated the dragon, rescue the Prince, and head home.
Noon: Heroes, Knights, and Personae all return to the Clearing safely with the Prince in tow.
Afternoon: The garden where the dragon resided appears down a path closer to the Clearing.
