60 Second Plot Catch-up

IN PREVIOUS EPISODES, Beauty's Prince, long trapped in the Dark part of woods, tried to reach out to Aather by running a game from afar! After some exploration by the heroes jogged the Dog's memories loose (and perhaps changed some other things…), as the Prince's Dog, it alerted Beauty to its Master's presence. Realizing that the Dog would soon be able to track down where the Prince was trapped, Beauty decided to rescue her man herself with the help of any who would aid her, and left to gather power from her knights outside of Aather for the journey.

In the meantime, the Prince tried again to reach out to Aather in her absence! This time, the Darkness realized what he was doing and followed the path that he made through Aather's defenses to try to get in, taking the form of creepy doors that called with desperate voices for help from the heroes. Anyone who opened the door found no one there—just twisted landscapes, lingering numbness, vision fading to gray, and even petrified fingers and toes that required Apple's hopebloom salve from the clinic to cure. When the heroes regrouped to talk about their scare, the Dog revealed the Darkness's strategy, and the heroes called on the Personae for help in giving them extra defenses for when the Prince—and the Darkness—tried again. They also started making plans to take care of the creepy patches of Darkness left behind, which is a good thing, that stuff is weird.
