Dog shenanigans!
Hi all! As some of you may know, Zen/Vesper's IC group of intrepid plot-pursuers, FLAMEDOOM TOFU (warning: may not actually be their name) is questing for an explore in the Dog's realm! This trip will take place over a period of several days beginning on Monday, November 17, with each character progressing individually through their run.
✦ The trip itself is limited to tofu members and 1 personal invitee each, for a maximum of 16. If this is applicable to you, click! Please keep in mind that though this trip has been ICly advertised as a vacation, it will OOCly be more of a potentially upsetting, though not dangerous, plot excursion - Zen's timing means he will be biting off more than he thought. I ask that you please keep this in mind when OOCly deciding on your IC invites. We don't have to hit the full 16 if this doesn't work for anyone. Tofus, please extend your OOC invitations (with a link to this post) asap so that people have the opportunity to thread out their quests if they wish.
The quest for this is as follows, and your character will have been informed of it and should have completed it onscreen or offscreen by the beginning of the event:

I will also put up a dream post sometime between November 17th and 20th, no quest required; the Dog's thread there will have different content but related themes in individual runs, for characters who didn't do the explore only. Those doing the explore will be stirring things up! ♥ I'll ping abundantly on Plurk and probably notify people here when both excursions come around, so this is mostly heads up and clarification for those who are questing.
✦ I started tearing up this morning planning this because I was upsetting myself, so I think I'm doing Dog stuff right. ASK ME ANYTHING BELOW and hope to see you there!

Trail quest: Every person has to construct a trail marker that represents a period in their life, such as something they think of as a sharp turn in their personal paths, or a straight portion, or some other directional thing etc. The Dog suggested markers that could be affixed to trees but they can actually be anything as long as some personal effort to represent what they're putting up is involved. After they've all made theirs, when they place them in the forest to create a path together the trail they make will lead to the Dog's realm.If Zen completes his own separate quest for special pins to affix the markers to trees for those who choose that, something else might happen. Your character will know the quest and... I don't actually know how Kristen is handling creating a trail out of the markers, but I suspect there will be a post or a thread or a handwaved sequence of events on the correct date. YOU WILL FIND OUT.
