DP expiration

Hey everybody! As a head's up to Persona players, the dramatispersonae's paid account has expired. In the past, the mods have paid for it, but with most Personae using their own journals, we're wondering if it's necessary at the moment!

If we could get Personae players to comment (a) if they would prefer to keep using DP, and (b) if there are icons currently uploaded there that they strongly do not want to see deleted, that would be great!

ETA: We still plan on keeping the mingle icons, and the journal itself! But we just want to get a feel for who is dependent on the journal for their personae specifically.

I really like using the DP journal to make posts for games and comments in large posts, but I don't think it necessarily needs a paid from my end -- I'm using my own journal for Mulan!

I'm fine with using DP unpaid (like for posting game posts/mingles with blank icons), and the only icons I'd want to see not deleted are the mingle icons!

Can I comment to say "go ahead and delete Kiriko's"? I prefer using DP to set up games, but I don't need to use an icon with it ♥

Three still doesn't have her own journal. I'll make her one if that is easier—either way. But don't delete her icons for at least a few days to give me some time to move things over.

I also like using the DP journal to post/host games. I don't really care about the Unicorn's icons though.

All of my active Personae are transferred to their own journals now! HOWEVER I never gave the Magic Fish a journal of its own before I retired it, so I'd appreciate its icons staying on DP :(b

Yeah I'd only use it for games and the like, not for any reason I'd need icons for or for general play!

+1 for using it for making game posts and so on -- it's such an archive at this point. I don't mind if Marjory/June's icons come down but to not break threads if they can get the keywords shifted into one maybe that's better?

I use the DP journal for game posts but my Personae journals for any IC tags, so I'm cool with using it unpaid o/

Also seconding Saya in not wanting to see the mingle icons deleted.

Both of mine are on their own journals! you can delete all of Goldie and Mother's icons, I only use DP for posting games

What everyone has already said, and you can go for my two for icons. That'd be Persephone and Dream, since I have made a mess of them, anyway.

I do still want to keep using DP for posting games, but paid time isn't really necessary for that. I would actually prefer to keep playing Green Knight off of DP, but could make an account for him if that's the way this is going.

As for icons, I need a day or two to get Green Knight's off of dp.

Agree that it's pretty useful for games and stuff, but that's fine to do unpaid! I have no icons on it, so.

I'm personally okay with using my own journals for icons and the like so you can delete any that I have up there! I think the only thing to note afaik is that I know some games use stuff like polls and I think free accounts don't have them? That being said, that doesn't happen very often and you can probably just use screened comments for voting anyway, and I don't think any other feature is taken away besides that so! :|b

I'd rather see the icons and everything continue to stay on the account as an archive! There are a lot of early threads that'd break without them :|a obviously that doesn't require it to be paid, just to still have the icons on the account - but since I'm not quite sure how the icons that remain on there get selected and we'd need the mingle icons, it's worth noting!

Yes to using it for games/mingles and keeping it unpaid. I don't think I uploaded any Wolf icons there, but if I did, feel free to delete those.

I use it as Cassandra's journal because I am lazy about making her a journal whoops!! Keeping her icons on there would be swell for me.

I like using it for games/mingles but I've moved Mr. Right's icons over to his own journal so they can be deleted if necessary. Same for Beauty obvs.

+1 to using personal journal, though I'm hoping to keep Mme White's icons so old threads aren't broken. I can shuffle them into one or two icons if necessary though!
