☆ The everyday FAQ is linked to in the network sidebar. If you can, please check there before PMing the mods. If something is missing, of course, let us know, and we'll be happy to answer, and add it ASAP. With that in mind, remember that if there is anything you want organizationally, like "I think it's hard that this specific info is split between here and here," or "there is no info on ____" or "it's hard to find ____ when I'm looking for it," please tell us these things too. Even if it's just a tiny little detail, we want to make it as concise and organized as possible.
☆ Regarding application length! Specifically, your character info section! We recommend it being between 300 and 500 words; that seems to be a good balance of "information we need to know" and "too little/too much." If you can give us a super concise and detailed summary of your character in 200 words, that's fine, though it may be safer to go for a little more depth, especially if there are canon considerations that are necessary/unique to the character and especially regarding team placement! We just really, really don't need 1500 word info sections. For apps that we've currently received, don't worry about changing them. But any future apps whose info section goes over 1K will be asked to rewrite.
☆ Just a quick reminder on activity standards: we aim for approximately 60 comments per month and at least one tag per week. If we don't see you for a week we will try to email you as a reminder. If you have not declared a hiatus or tagged out by the end of the second week, we will idle you. If you do not make the 60 comments per month recommendation, with no hiatus or other circumstances, we will email you; under-activity for two months running will result in idling.
☆ Remember that March will be our first full month of counted activity! On April first, we will be checking everyone's comment count and emailing those who are under 60 for the month of March. I don't anticipate there to be much of a list, but please be aware!
☆ April first will also begin our acceptance of "third" characters! I . . . I should take that day off work. There was a mod announcement earlier this week re: thirds, in case you missed it.
