OH GOD ORGANIZATION IS TERRIBLE WHY DOES ANYONE EVER DO IT

Right! Because the Octoberplot "we don't ICly know what's going on so let's plan something???" post yesterday was kind of spur of the moment both ICly and OOCly, Sion icly offered to prepare a pamphlet for Yukio to pass around to the teams.

I will attempt to pull everything that was gone over into an easy OOC guide to describe what's icly in the pamphlet. Percy ICly wanted this Day 92 morning when it was late Day 91 night, so there was a lot of OOCly handwaved LLOYD AND PERCY TOLD PEOPLE THEY KNEW AND POSSIBLY ONE PERSON PER TEAM ETCETERA IN THE LATE NIGHT AND EARLY MORNING THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE A THING. As such and as always you can handwave your characters being there or overhearing this or whatever because otherwise expecting everyone to be able to get to these things at the same time OOCly without planning or coordination is crazypants.

Here is the stuff that was discussed, for your viewing pleasure!



GENERAL PLANNING ORGANIZATION (CONSOLIDATION THREAD)


• COMMUNICATION PLANNING
     - People are going to collect shellphones with partners marked in marker in team colors, and distribute them to the teams so there's a way to communicate in an emergency that traps people inside their cabins (Raven, Ventus)
     - Knights could make people gathering shellphones on their own a quest if asked for food quests, in that "accommplish two useful things at once" way.
     - Flying people could back the shellphone system up in case of emergency
     - Possibly an Onyx person could stand on top of Maleficent's tower to keep an eye on all of Aather (it's the highest point!); if this happens, they could send messages via Dino's fireworks(?) so people should watch for those.

• SUPPLY PLANNING
     - Since Beauty said "prepare as for a storm," it's probably an idea to have a food supply built up via quest and huntergathering so teams won't have to for a few days in an emergency; 3 days worth of nonperishable food is probably good.
     - In case characters can't get outside due to shenanigans, each team is going to have a barrel made for them that via MAGIC that they can store water in for a period of time. (Mau, Mithos, Josh, Sion, Sasuke(?))
     - A giant hunting thing is planned for dawn 93 with both magical twinks and plain combatants banding together for killing lots of hippos and filling the smokehouse with meat :9 they need help butchering afterwards if noncombatants want to help with that. (V-v-various, Temeraire is helping with AIR SUPPORT!)
     - Mau and whoever helps him (Sion, Natsume, idk who else) is also going to deliver vegetables to the cabins though I assume he is only... doing the gathering from the Sapphire portion of the veggie patch and the communal corn/rice fields he is tending! So teams should probably get some from their own.

• MEDICAL PLANNING
     - Yukio has already been icly working on getting a clinic put together! He is going to try to get the bare bones of the thing done supply-wise before plot and base it out of the Onyx Library (as of rn), so people should go there in case of injury ACCORDING TO ONYX you guys are building the actual shell of the clinic tonight as an adjunct to Onyx! So the supplies will be delivered there and people should go there 8)
     - The clinic needs stuff donations if possible! Knights are doing a group quest to get Yukio's basic list before plot starts but he can always use more.
     - People with conventional or magical healing abilities will be taking shifts there and that can be a thing you sign up forrr.
     - Healers in Fred who are willing to be tapped by anyone for healing/are taking shifts doing so are going to start wearing white armbands provided by Yukio/Mithos for easy identification.
     - The survey stuff for healing abilities and fighting abilities is being done separately (by Zero and whatever help he gets, when Yukio goes around doing the medical personel survey) so Yukio doesn't die
     - at least one tiny healer is going to get to fly around on a dragon just in case when patrols/the hippo hunt/plot shenanigans are going down, fuck awesome

• PLANNING TO BECOME INFORMED
     - The Personae know SOMETHING'S up but they don't actually have ideas on specifics about what is coming.
     - Language used to talk about it is all along the lines of a storm breaking, a chair about to tip over, gravity, lean times and conflict, etc.
     - It is a result of winning so much against the darkness; the reason the Personae don't know more about the effects of this is that they were always lolfailures before.
     - There was a mysterious puzzlevoice in the fog a few days ago that gave people who solved the puzzles gray cubes with the warning that it was something they'd want/need! SOMEONE'S GOTTA GET TOGETHER A LIST OF WHO HAS THOSE
     - eta: that someone is Mithos! IF YOU GOT A CUBE please comment here.
     - If you do have one it's probably a good idea to keep track of it 8D;;

• PLANNING PATROLLING/FIGHTING
     - Some knights have been doing regular patrols anyway (esp at dawn/dusk); the routes for these were discussed some and the system consolidated so multiple "capable" heroes (thanks Sasuke) could go with the knights on their patrols and they wouldn't cover overlapping ground/time
     - NO SERIOUSLY I AM PRETTY SURE THAT PART IS ALL HANDWAVED cos I sure don't know any knights who OOCly have their patrolling schedules sketched out, gosh knows I don't.
     - Noncombatants should seriously not go out of their cabins if there is an attack so there will be some kind of warning if stuff is spotted (fireworks from Onyx?)
     - Patrols are going to include people from mixed teams (Citrine, Itachi, and others idk volunteered under the medical planning header) and combatant knights, with a healthy mix of magical fighters, conventional fighters, and air support working on each shift. I give up noting who was ICly involved in volunteering for this, figure it out.

• GETTING THE WORD OUT
     - LIKE I SAID UP THERE Sion ICly put a pamphlet with this info in it together
     - and Yukio's gonna distribute it while he's talking to all the teams, hopefully asap on this IC day.
     - people can thus ICLY ASSUME THEY HAVE SEEN THIS CRAP, ALL OF IT even if you don't want to handwave being at the meeting.


Thus if you want to assume knowledge of this and have your character ENGAGING IN ANY ONE OF THESE FUN ACTIVITIES akin to a nervous guard dog puppy or a squirrel caching food, FEEL FREE! The purpose of an IC planning post is THE OPPOSITE OF MAKING PEOPLE FEEL ICLY OR OOCLY EXCLUDED FROM THINGS TO DO even if this is happening a little too fast for people to necessarily spread the word about it onscreen. You can probably assume at least ONE of your IC acquaintences/teammates/whatever heard about this and told you what was in the wind.

Which brings me to a second thing actually! SINCE THE KNIGHTS IN THE POST volunteered to do a thing and I WOULD NEVER WISH TO DETER ANY OF YOU LOVELY KNIGHT PEOPLE FROM HELPING TO DO THINGS because Sera is ICly in charge of organization of that and OOCly cannot thread with like fourteen people between now and afternoon 92 gametime, oh my god.


• KNIGHT QUEST PLANNING
- Suzaku and Lloyd decided it'd be a good idea for knights to keep an eye on team preparations (possibly with knights-by-team splits?) and give them quests for things they need to prepare that... also facilitated things they needed to prepare |D DOUBLE THE RESULT FOR EQUAL WORK!
- Lloyd also figured that the knights could get the bulk of the necessary supplies to make a clinicthing a present reality and not a mad gleam in Yukio's eyes before whatever happened, happened! He decided to ask the White Queen for a badass group quest for any knights who were willing.
- Suzaku also ICly went around the meeting asking knights if they would be in on this thing. SINCE SOME PEOPLE HAD TO GO TO BED/HANDWAVING BEING THERE ENTIRELY IS A POSSIBILITY and Alison is only 99% made of magic to overcome these difficulties, here is an ooc signup thingit!

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, IF YOU ARE DOING THIS

     - I totally got this quest already as of Day 92 morning because Sian humors me. Possibly by the end of the meeting Lloyd had this already!
     - In which case he would totally pick up the list Suzaku had just ICly handed him and tell people about it right then and there, as well as mentioning it to any other knights he saw that morning.
     - I am not going to do this ICly. Seriously, guys, don't make me, I will cry. Assume Lloyd found you and told you about the quest on morning 92 if you want to be involved.

WHAT THIS QUEST CONSISTS OF, FOR YOUR OOC KNOWLEDGE IN CASE YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE WHITE QUEEN'S EXPLANATION
     - Find a thing from an unlock that appeals to you ICly.
     - Bring it to her when she wanders out under the mutant tree during the afternoon.
     - ??? (SOME BUILDING STUFF WHICH IS DEFERRED TILL AFTER PLOT!)
     - Profit. (All the supplies will show up outside the Onyx library Onyx-based ~SURPRISE CLINIC~ as of late afternoon 92 if this is done.)
